Moving on

It's hard to say goodbye and start over again. 1st rotation of 8 is done!
I'm starting up with general surgery in Dodgeville tomorrow. Yikes. Not sure what to expect.
I'm going to miss everyone at the Peds clinic. I had a lot of fun there.
We had a few more interesting cases. One was a 9 week old that was TINY - like newborn size. Babies come in all shapes and sizes I guess. Another kid was very unhappy to be seeing us - he was screaming bloody murder. I felt so bad for him and his mom and wonder what the other patients waiting must have thought. I know it's no fun being sick, but he was especially upset.
The weekend has gone by too fast. I could really use a couple extra days to regroup and prepare for this new rotation. I'm working on getting settled in on the farm since I'm out in rural WI. Stay tuned.
