Since it was my birthday just after returning from Mexico in the middle of the week, I didn't plan anything elaborate to celebrate. However, birthdays are a big deal in Argentina so I didn't get away with a small, intimate party just the day of. A group of us went out bowling on my birthday. But my roommates threw me a surprise party on the Sunday afterwards with some friends of ours. Even though I'm not much for surprises, it was fun. I felt very loved by their gesture.
