After passing through Mexico and Chile with flight delays everywhere I went, I finally arrived in La Plata this afternoon. Whew! It's a beautiful 75* today, which is nice, but startling and a little surreal after leaving snow. I don't like saying goodbye. It was hard to leave my family and friends and home in a sense. I didn't get to see everyone that I wanted to or spend nearly as much time as I would have liked, but I guess that happens when you only have 3 weeks to do everything with holidays thrown in the mix. I had a wonderful time home though! I would make the trip again in a heartbeat. One of many highlights was going to the Passion conference in Atlanta. It was exhausting and energizing at the same time if that makes any sense. For an introvert, being surrounded by 20,000 people was tiring, but the worship and messages were just what I needed to keep me going. I'm still processing what I learned, but if you want to know more about it, say the word!
Tomorrow I'm getting organized and repacking to take a trip to Mar del Plata. I was invited to a wedding there. Mar del Plata happens to be a desirable summer vacation location because it is on the coast. I guess it's time to put away the scarves and slather on the sunscreen!
PS. Props to anyone who gets the movie reference from the title of this post!

Val, you probably do have an unfair advantage.
