I received this encouraging poem from another Navigator staff in Argentina and wanted to share it. We're not sure who the original author is. I did the rough translation in to English so you could read it even if you don't know Spanish.
La Voluntad de Dios
La voluntad de Dios nunca te va a llevar donde la gracia de Dios no te pueda guardar
Donde los brazos de Dios no te puedan apoyar, donde las riquezas de Dios no puedan suplir tus necesidades
Donde el poder de Dios no pueda respaldar tu servicio
La voluntad de Dios nunca te va a llevar donde el Espiritu de Dios no pueda obrar a traves de ti, donde la sabiduria de Dios no pueda ensenarte y dar palabra
Donde el ejercito de Dios no pueda protegerte, donde las manos de Dios no puedan moldearte.
La voluntad de Dios nunca te va a llevar, Donde el amor de Dios no pueda correr hacia tu projimo, donde las misericordias de Dios no puedan sostenerte
Donde la paz de Dios no pueda calmar tus temores, donde la autoridad de Dios no pueda guiarte.
La voluntad de Dios nunca te va a llevar, donde el consuelo de Dios no pueda enjugar tus lagrimas, donde la palabra de Dios no pueda alimentarte,
donde los milagros de Dios no puedan ser hechos para ti, a traves de ti, donde la omnipresencia de Dios no pueda encontrarte, junto a su pueblo.
The will of God will never take you where the grace of God can't keep you
where the arms of God can't support you, where the riches of God can't supply your needs
where the power of God won't back you up
the will of God will never bring you where the Spirit of God can't work through you, where the wisdom of God can't teach you and give you words
where God can't protect you, where the hands of God can't mold you
The will of God will never take you where the love of God can't run to your neighbor, where the mercy of God can't sustain you
where the peace of God can't calm your fears, where the authority of God can't guide you
the will of God will never bring you where the counsel of God can't wipe away your tears, where the word of God can't give you life
